Ethan Geller

Ethan Geller is currently pursuing a master's degree at the CCRMA at Stanford University. He received a BM in Composition as well as a minor in Computer Science at Indiana University. His most recent work involves composing and performing works for choreographers in Indiana University's ballet department, designing audio for a large-scale installation by video artist Matt Starr, and designing the text-to-audio engine Soundwrite in MaxMSP. Ethan was also a finalist for the 2012 IDEA competition, a competition of business plans run annually by Indiana University's Kelly School of Business. He is currently working on tools for dynamic audio design in HTML-based video games and interactive media, and is interested in lowering the barrier of entry to creating interesting and expressive music.
