Student in Georgia

Before I moved to Georgia during my senior year of high school, I used to live in Missouri. While I lived in Missouri, I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. More specifically, I volunteered for Restore, a store used to generate money for the organization's other projects. The store received the bulk of its items from donations. For this reason, they would set the items at extremely low prices.
I spent my time at Restore restocking the shelves and bringing donated items into the store. I also talked with some of the customers at the store, many of whom somehow knew the store even better than I did. They would sometimes even show me, the worker, the location where a certain item belonged. Talking with the shoppers was the highlight of volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. The customers would sometimes tell me stories from their lives or just jokes. I would even go out of my way to talk to some shoppers. The management did not like that, though.
Even if it was work, I still enjoyed working at Restore. Whenever I moved to Georgia, there was no Restore in the area, so I could not keep volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
