Ethan Heller
Senior Accountant at Luma Financial Group in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Ethan Heller has built his career on discipline, practical thinking, and consistent effort under pressure. At Lehigh University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business & Economics, majoring in Finance and minoring in Management. He consistently earned Dean’s List honors and graduated with the highest academic honors.
While studying, Ethan also competed as a Division I baseball player, spending 20-25 hours/week on practice, games, and leadership development. After an injury ended his athletic career, he stayed involved in the sport by helping coaches use performance data to shape training strategies. This helped him learn how to simplify complex information and make decisions when the right answer was not always clear.
Ethan's first private equity experience came through multiple internships, during which he worked with senior management and portfolio company executives. He spoke with over 20 executives in various industries and learned how organizations think about growth, culture, and future planning. He also presented acquisition analyses directly to a CEO and contributed to product development discussions for a portfolio company. He completed pricing and industry analysis for a prototype product with multimillion-dollar implications.
After graduation, he began his career at a private equity firm as a Project Specialist. His work focused on execution-oriented projects with measurable financial benefits across portfolio companies. He analyzed fuel consumption and cost structures for aircraft operations and developed break-even models to increase flight activity and reduce inefficiencies. He also developed an inventory system to support nationwide consolidation, thereby reducing costs and improving operations.
Ethan later led a cost-reduction program that delivered over $300k in annualized savings and supported better cash flow and financial stability. He also prepared daily liquidity analyses to maintain flexible capital allocation. As part of asset restructuring, he worked on financial planning and analysis for real estate deals across multiple states, helping guide decisions about buying, selling, and long-term planning.
In 2025, Ethan joined LUMA Financial Group. There, he works with clients in various industries and uses financial modeling, budgeting, and performance tracking to help businesses understand their key metrics and make clearer decisions about investments and operations.
Ethan also founded and serves as managing partner of an investment holding company focused on traditional and alternative investments, including real estate, public markets, and cryptocurrency. He trades Nasdaq-100 futures contracts and is also the managing partner in a real estate holding company with residential and commercial properties in several states.
Ethan Heller also values purpose, service, and accountability. He has trained younger team members, supported charitable and humanitarian organizations, helped food insecurity initiatives, and spoken with donors about international programs for orphaned children.
