ETHAN E. MARTEN is in post production for two features: EYES OF THE ROSHI, with Eric Roberts (RUNAWAY TRAIN, POPE OF GREENWHICH VILLAGE, STAR 80); and WHITE BUFFALO: An American Prophecy, a co-production with Star Circle Pictures.
In development IS the suspense thriller, LOST APRIL.
Mr. Marten has produced and/or executive produced three television series (17 episodes), and five motion pictures. Mr. Marten has spent most of his professional life in the entertainment industry, first as an actor and later producing and executive producing shorts, features, and TV formats.
Marten first started working behind the camera in 1988 with Craig and Mark Fincannon on Buzz Kulick's Too Young the Hero. He has since worked in front of or behind the camera with Lucas Films, Hollywood Pictures, Discovery Channel, Family Channel, New Dominion Pictures, and NASA. Mr. Marten was VP of Marketing for Atlantic Film Studios, Virginia's first full-service motion Picture studio, and for Atlantic En¬tertainment Inc., distributor of such films as What Ever Happened To..? starring Lynn and Vanessa Redgrave, In The Deep Woods, starring Anthony Perkins, and Our Sons, starring Hugh Grant, Julie Andrews and Ann-Margret.
He also served as Ar¬tistic Director of Norfolk's acclaimed 2nd Story Theatre. As Star Circle Pictures co-founder and producer, Mr. Marten helped make Samaritan, Player's Joy, and Revolver with partners Richard Marten and Kimball Carr. Samaritan was credited by Panasonic as being the first motion picture completed with the AG HVX-200 using all digital technology. In 2009 Mr. Marten co-created, produced, and was 2nd unit director of Tanners Point, a reality-based television series shot in Virginia that won awards for Best Reality Show, Best Ensemble, and Best Soundtrack at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. In 2010 Mr. Marten produced the sci-fi thriller Atlantis Down while producing and starring in Atlantis Rising: The Making of Atlantis Down.
