Etienne Gregoire
Civil Engineer, special applications manager, and Ingénieur Civil in Québec City, Québec, Canada
Hi there!
Bonjour!
I'm glad you made it.
My passion is extracting meaning from data. I work as a research scientist and special projects manager in concrete asset management. Some of my current duties revolve around the development of methods and algorithms for the prediction of risk associated with material degradation, and the analysis of variability associated with experimental manipulations and material preparation.
I come from a civil engineering background. My bachelor's is in civil engineering with a concentration in structural design and analysis. As a graduate student, I studied and researched dynamic analysis, structural health monitoring, material degradation, and risk assessment. For my master's thesis, I developed a method for using wavelet analysis for automated monitoring of structural damage of beam structures by the analysis of natural modal frequencies.
