Justin Etzin (born 12 February 1986 in Victoria) is a British / Seychellois businessman, investor and philanthropist. His work and interests span the real estate, hospitality, retail, Travel, Insurance, Medical, entertainment and technology sectors. He is the CEO at Global Ocean, which specialises in private equity, real estate investment and development, and debt financing globally.
Justin Etzin served as a Diplomat for the Seychelles for The United Nations in New York for 14 years and is now a strategic advisor and Special Envoy to the President of Seychelles.
Justin Etzin spearheads Global Ocean established hospitality business which develops hotels in Seychelles, United States and Europe. Justin’s vision is to have hotels with a focus on wellness and longevity and a creative approach to guest experience. He has a passion for architecture and design, with a particular interest in restoring iconic heritage properties - respecting the tradition while bringing them to life. This is seen with his various projects in the United States transforming former historic US Federal properties into residential developments and boutique hotels.
Justin has a varied business portfolio. He is Managing Director of Seychelles Medical, Seychelles premier tourist medical facilities; an investor in UK Diagnostics, a UK based laboratory and diagnostic provider; and a Director of Seychelles Travel, a Seychelles Destination Management Company. He also focuses on venture capital investing in Europe and US, supporting businesses in their respective growth strategies, including in tech and consumer-facing companies.
The Etzin Foundation is a major focus of Justin. The foundation provides special experiences for the terminally ill as well as funds life-saving medical equipment for hospitals that are in need of funding. Justin recently donated an entire laboratory to the Seychelles Ministry of Health supporting the growth of their public health facilities.
