Eugene Denton
At my heaviest I weighed close to 150kgs.
Then one day I decided I needed to lose the weight and more importantly get healthy if I wanted to be around for my family above the age of 50. So I started a blog to document my journey and focused on losing weight the right way - eating smart, eating clean and exercising the right way (weights and cardio).
Within a few short weeks I started to see results.
I've since lost close to 25kgs and embarked on a new career - becoming a personal trainer to help others like me to lose weight the right way. I don't believe in depriving yourself of food. I don't believe that dieting is the be all and end all. I believe in being smart and doing things you enjoy to lose weight. Working hard and being consistent.
I am a qualified gym instructor and I hold my Applied First Aid and CPR Certificates. By the end of the year I will be a qualified Master Personal Trainer through the Australian Institute of Fitness.
My goal is to eventually own my own business helping others like me: who once found it hard to lose weight.
I have a special interest in working with sporting teams (designing position specific workouts) circuit groups and trying new exercises and applying them to my work outs.
Personal Interests: Sports: Touch football, Cricket, American Football.
While my number one career will be Personal Training I'm looking forward to collborating with my wife Joss from Go Girls Marketing and Design to create an online community, a social media presence, training videos, eBooks, and more.
