I am a faculty member of the computer science department at Kim-Il Sung University. I also was the lead developer of Red Star OS 3.0.

When I was 17 I began working with computers while in the KPA. I spent most of my time studying C++, and then one year in Yokohama studying assembly. After I finished studying, I joined the Red Star OS 2.0 development team. After 2.0 was finished, I also finished school and published several papers on the benefits of having a greater focus on computer science in schools. With some colleagues from the OS 2.0 development team, we founded the first computer science department.

I enjoy living in the DPRK. Many people say that our citizens are not able to talk to other nations but it is simply not true. There are many misconceptions about our nation. I collaborate with other developers all over the world and also attend conferences for women in technology. I am happy to answer questions.

Currently projects:

-Converting DPRK sites into angular2 and node.js

-Integrating blockchain technology into DPRK payment and ledger systems

-Teaching OS development and assembly class

When I am not working I like to paint, run with my dog, travel, and browse github for new ideas. I promised I would start learning woodworking this year but so far I have only spent a lot of time looking on Stack Exchange.
