Eunice Adewusi, widely known as Climiradi Roberts, is a socio-tech entrepreneur, machine learning engineer, and AI researcher. She is also a gender equity and climate justice activist passionate about harnessing technology to address real-world challenges, promote sustainability, and empower young people, especially women in Africa.

She is the founder of the Climiradi Roberts Foundation (CRF), a youth-led nonprofit advancing digital inclusion, STEAM education, and women’s leadership across Africa. Through CRF, Eunice launched Nexo Girls, an initiative that has empowered over 58,000+young people across Africa and beyond while actively operating in Nigeria, Rwanda, and Kenya. Her work addresses systemic barriers to women’s participation in technology by bridging the gender divide, challenging harmful stereotypes, and fostering youth-led innovation.

Beyond gender equity, Eunice’s activism extends to climate resilience, shaped by her lived experiences with flooding and environmental degradation in Nigeria. Through Project Ayika, the Climiradi Roberts Foundation’s climate-tech arm, she creates pathways for young African women to develop locally rooted, sustainable solutions to climate challenges. The pilot phase of Project Ayika in Nigeria and Rwanda trained 26 young women, many with no prior technical background, who went on to build 15 technology prototypes. Four of these solutions focused on climate adaptation, with three selected for further development.

Eunice’s work spans grassroots advocacy and innovation, including continent-wide campaigns such as the UN 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (#16DaysLoudItQuotes) and Women’s History Month initiatives, collectively reaching over 75,000 youths globally. Through these efforts, she has engaged more than 250 student volunteers, mentored emerging leaders, and collaborated with international partners, including UN Women Rwanda. Her work has contributed to establishing a culture of advocacy, safety, and accountability within academic and community spaces, ensuring that women and youth are not only included in Africa’s future but actively shaping it.

Recognized by organizations including the UN Foundation through Our Future Agenda (OFA), Falling Walls Foundation (Germany), WeTech Nigeria, UNAI and Millennium Campus Network (USA), STAND Ireland, UN SDSN Nigeria, PACE Kenya, Women in Tech® Nigeria, and Deep Learning Indaba, Eunice continues to redefine what it means to be a woman in technology. Her work is marked by ethical leadership, community-centered innovation, and a deep commitment to creating equitable, future-ready opportunities for the next generation of African women changemakers.

Inspired by Rwanda’s model of innovation and resilience, Eunice is committed to applying the lessons she learns across borders using technology, leadership, and advocacy to help shape a better Nigeria and a better world.
