Eunice Lau

I am a graduate of the University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia, where I earned my degree in Civil Engineering. While I have dedicated myself to study engineering, I have also developed a strong passion for trading and investing. During my university years, I would spent time analyzing market trends and investment opportunities across various sectors, including cryptocurrencies, precious metals and foreign exchange. Over the course of five years, this interest evolved into a daily habit and I realized it had become a career path I deeply wanted to pursue.

I recognize that transitioning into a career that is different from my formal education presents challenges. However, my background in civil engineering has provided me with valuable skills including statistics, basic programming, accounting & finance fundamentals, and project planning & control. Additionally, my experience in collaborative team environments throughout majority of coursework and engineering projects has significantly enhanced my ability to adapt, communicate effectively, and perform well under pressure.

I am motivated by the endless possibilities that trading and investing career path can offer and I am eager to apply my skills, perseverance, and adaptability to this field. I am hopeful that with continuous learning and dedication, I can make meaningful contributions and carve out a successful career in finance. My commitment to growth, both professionally and personally, drives me to embrace this challenge with enthusiasm and optimism.
