DJ, Producer, and Label Owner in Manchester, United Kingdom
Producer, DJ, label boss, songwriter and mentor, Euphonique has been a driving force in drum & bass and jungle since emerging in 2008. Known for her high-energy sets rooted in jungle, she began on sound systems, building a reputation for playing her own unreleased productions, exclusive dubplates and sound-system-led selections, and has since become a respected figure in the global D&B scene.
Her music has featured on some of the most influential labels in the genre, including Hospital Records, Born On Road, Dread Recordings, Ruffneck Ting and Jungle Cakes, earning multiple No.1s and Top 10s, alongside a Top 10 placement in the Official UK Dance Album Chart with her Seven Songs EP. She has since released a full-length album on Jungle Cakes, further solidifying her position at the forefront of modern, jungle-rooted drum & bass.
Originally from Manchester and now based in Bristol, Euphonique blends the energy and heritage of both cities. This has led to multiple Best DJ award nominations and extensive touring across the UK, Europe, Asia, Canada, the USA, Australia and New Zealand, with performances at Glastonbury’s Arcadia Spider, Boomtown, Creamfields, Shambala, Balter, Beatherder, and venues including Fabric, The Warehouse Project, Motion Bristol, E1 London, Sankeys and Factory Manchester.
A respected broadcaster as well as selector, Euphonique has featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing, and international radio platforms, and currently hosts the Friday Drivetime show on SWU.FM alongside Ruth Royall and APH, now one of the station’s most popular shows.
Alongside her artist career, Euphonique is committed to nurturing the next generation. Through her Younique Music Mentoring programmes, she runs the AAA DJ Academy at Lakota, supporting emerging DJs, producers and event promoters with practical mentoring, industry insight and career development.
Euphonique also founded Subwoofah, an influential label and event platform launched in the early 2000s that helped kick-start the careers of several artists who remain core figures in drum & bass today — a reflection of her long-standing commitment to scene-building and cultural progression.
