Eureka Band

Eureka is a Filipino pop, blues, reggae, disco and R&B; band formed in Pattaya,Thailand in 2011. The band consists of Mafel Ugay(vocals), Christine Mutia (lead vocals), Mark Paler(bass guitar,vocals), Reggie Ugay (keyboard, vocals) and Mike (drums, vocals). The band name "Eureka" comes from ancient Greek εὕρηκα heúrēka "I have found (it)", which is the 1st person singular perfect indicative active of the verb heuriskō "I find".[1] The reconstructed Ancient Greek pronunciation is [hěu̯rɛːka], while the Modern Greek pronunciation is [ˈevrika] This is the first time that they've become members of the same band. The five people are closed friends and members of different groups before they decided to create their own. This a drean come true for them.
