Eva Hasíková

Project administrator/coordinator in Magdeburg, Germany

I am administrative Coordinator of the international project European Topic Centre on Inland, Coastal and Marine Waters (ETC/ICM). I joined the project in Prague and performed there till we submitted a new proposal for a next period. I was in charge of the coordination of the administrative part (consortium of 17 partners) and the proposal was successfully awarded. This meant a new start for me in Germany (Magdeburg). The project is currently led by research institution the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ.

I am taking responsibility in various roles, notably in the area of project management, coordination and administration of the project. I am facilitating the smooth run of the project and work of our experts. My main focus is on the financial management and the monitoring of the budget spending by partners within the project. My position requires very good organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. I am capable to work independently and to perform tasks well under pressure and to tight deadlines. On top I have very strong team spirit, and well-balanced working relationships and trustful friendly environment are important to me.

My enthusiasm and self-motivation allows me to learn new skills quickly. My education background is very diverse. I have successfully completed several degrees, M.A. in Sociology and B.A in Biochemistry at the Masaryk University in Brno. Beside that I completed 1 semester of study programme Sustainable Rural Development in Tropics and Subtropics at the University of Life Science in Prague. And I spend one amazing year studying Social Anthropology at University of Bergen in Norway.

Personally, I consider myself as a sociable person with strong empathy towards various kinds of people of different backgrounds and ages. I have developed deep passion for exploring new things and places on my own. During my daily adventures I love to communicate with locals and to discover different perspective of thinking. I am also fascinated by variety, complexity and beauty of the nature itself.

In my free time… I appreciate moments with my family and friends, which are extremely important to me and make me feel complete. I like personal conversation spiced with emotions. I also very much enjoy being outside, preferably on my feet during any season of the year. I am fascinated by variety, complexity and beauty of the nature itself.
