Hi!

I am an accomplished author, trainer and co-founder of WatzThis?, a firm aimed at creating educational content on technical topics in a fun and approachable manner.

I am the co-author of Coding JavaScript for Kids For Dummies and Coding with JavaScript For Dummies.

An expert facilitator, I have successfully managed the creation of complex educational products, including an online video course titled Beginner's Guide to Building Mobile Web Apps, published by O’Reilly Media and the development of online courses through ed2go.com.

I have trained business professionals as well as students of all backgrounds in topics such as Web Development,Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and general computing skills. I am an avid proponent of teaching women of all ages the skills they need to be successful in the predominantly male field of computer programming.

Prior to co-founding WatzThis?, I served as COO of Minnick Web Services where I was known to be a diplomatic listener and careful planner.

In addition to my roles at WatzThis?, I am the vocalist for the Sacramento based doom metal band, Church.

I enjoy tennis, music, watching volcanoes and exploring the caves of the unknown.
