Couch covers are a great idea for high impact dogs, but you don't need a spoiled dog to benefit from their protective shell. My Lucky has relatively good behavior and doesn't chew on furniture or other items except you can still see scratches and brushes on everything my couple own - especially the sofa. We're finally starting to use the cover, but I wish we had started doing so earlier.

This is ideal when you want to keep your sitting area looking good. Small dogs pee when they get too excited can certainly damage the couch as well. You'll be delighted that you can simply remove and wash your couch covers, instead of having to wash the couch the next time you sit on the sofa.

Finally, there are several reasons to use couch covers, and very few reasons not. You also want to be wary of how it fits. One of the most important elements of a dog sofa cover is making sure it is in the correct position while your dog is sitting in the chair. They protect your sofa from some of the discomfort your dog will cause.
