Eva Marie Wilshere

Brighton

I am currently about to graduate from a Media Practice degree at Sussex University, specialising in editing, scriptwriting, directing and production.

Recently I have written, directed, cast and edited a short film 'Local Girl' as well as organising and running Brighton Media Festival. Last year I did the same on the project '3 Moons' for composer 'Metaphysic Apostle'. I also work for UniTV and created a mental health documentary for Sussex Student Union.

I am a confident writer with a poetry blog I have been writing since I was thirteen, three scripts I have written over the past thre years and a novel I am working on. I have written articles for 'Holdupnow' and 'BN1' online magazines..

I was in a band called 'Snakejuice' for four years which taught me how bands work together creating music and finding gigs. I also ran club nights for six years which has given me many industry contacts and a good knowledge of club nights and DJs.

I have many interests and ideas, I love acting, dancing and making music and have had experience in all three areas, however my main passion is to create behind the camera and to be part of bringing a piece to life. I aspire to be a famous creator like Joss Wheadon who produces, writes and directs films and television series but I also want to make documentaries about important issues so I can help people.
