Evan Hayes

Evan is a second year undergraduate student in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University pursuing a degree in Energy Commerce. Evan is an active leader who is involved in various student organizations on campus including Raiderthon and Tech Marketing Association as well the Greek organization, Alpha Tau Omega where he has served as a Risk Management Director and a member of the New Membership Committee. Assisting in various positions within the fraternity has assisted Evan in developing various leadership qualities such as organizational skills, time management, and team building. These qualities have proved beneficial in assisting with his educational pursuit as well as his work experience. Evan demonstrated entrepreneurial skills by opening his own local part-time lawn service as well as working for a well established organization called Factory Builder Stores. The experiences offered through these two different approaches to work proved that he is capable of thinking out-of-the-box and dedicating himself to the required tasks at hand, whether those tasks consist of knocking on doors for his start-up business to laborious warehouse maintenance and inventory management, both requiring time management, commitment, excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people from various walks of life.

Following graduation Evan looks forward to a rewarding and fast paced career in the Energy industry. He plans on achieving success through his leadership, his work ethic, his engaging personality, and excellent communication skills.
