Hi, I’m Evan. I like recognizing what makes things tick and being the force to make them tick better. I'm a technologist who is equally (okay, more) interested in the human element that leads to a technology impacting society. I enjoy engaging with people holding diverse viewpoints on a subject, perceiving paths to improved understanding; I strive to encourage others to learn in the same way and try to ensure the quietest voice in the room has the same chance to justify an opinion as the loudest.

Professionally, I have channeled these interests into positions crossing boundaries between energy, datacenters, consumer technology, and public policy. I have managed working groups of dozens, core teams of a few colleagues, refined existing programs/products to their next iteration, and started completely new initiatives from scratch. I am comfortable (and experienced) working with and within public sector, private sector, startup, and non-profit spaces.

Personally, I am a huge sports fan (soccer and basketball, primarily), follow global affairs closely (The Economist cover to cover every week), and love learning about new ways to better optimize my life to spend more quality time with my family.
