Evan Mehan

I enjoy doing a lot of things, whether its hanging out with friends on the weekend, free diving, playing hockey, or racing. I’m always doing something. I’m the type of person that likes to try new things. I’m very open minded in whatever I do. Racing is my main focus. Its pretty much my career. I’ve been doing it since I was 9 years old. I travel all around the world competing trying to make a name for myself. My best memory of racing was going to the world championships in Cervia, Italy. Before I started racing I played hockey. I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old. I played for many travel teams including the Florida Jr. Panthers, and North Broward Prep. I’m also a big traveler. I’ve almost made it all around the globe. Traveling is the best thing that has happened to me. It teaches you many things and helps you be open minded about trying new things. Now that I’ve settled down and found what my passion is, I put hockey aside and play just for fun. On my free time, I like to freedive with one of my racing friends. Its something that takes everything off my mind. I go to school at North Broward Prep, and played on the hockey team. I don’t play hockey for the school anymore due to my very crammed schedule for racing. My strong subjects in school are math and science. I take after my dad. My weak subjects are english just because I dislike reading. Another thing I do in my free time is produce music. I’m very big in music as I’ve been playing the drums for 13 years. I produce EDM type of music. Its my favorite style.
