Justine Moritz

Hi, my name is Justine Moritz. Although my last name is Moritz, I consider myself a member of the Frankenstein family. I was adopted into the Frankenstein family as a young girl, and Victor and I grew up together. I feel very loved by everyone in the family.

The worst experience of my life came when I was accused of killing my borther, William. I could not kill anyone in my family, I love and respect them too much. I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, so everyone thought that I didm it. No one in my family believed that I was the murderer. At the trial, I said "I do not fear to die, the pang is past. God raises my weakness and gives me courage to endure the worst. I leave a sad and bitter world" (Ch. 8, Pg 69). At that point, with everyone turned against me, I could embrace death, and leave a depressed world behind.

My sister, Elizabeth spoke out in my defense at the trial, but that ended up backfiring- we were both executed. Elizabeth and I always got along well, and she was probably my best friend. My real family will always be the Frankenstein's.
