Evandro Fonseca

As a software consultant and researcher at Universidade Jean Piaget de Cabo Verde (UniPiaget), I have been working for over 11 years on developing and integrating innovative software solutions for various applications and platforms, such as ERP, Office365, Moodle, and interbanking and payment systems. I have also been teaching and researching topics related to information systems development, such as analysis, databases, programming, and project management. I was also the coordinator of the Technological Nucleus of the Center for Innovation and Sustainability at UniPiaget, where I lead and support projects that aim to enhance the quality and efficiency of education and information technologies.

My current mission now is to pursue my PhD in Informatics at Universidade de Évora / IP Setúbal, where I focus on image recognition and machine learning techniques, essentially Deep Learning and Convolutional Neural Networks in Breast Cancer Detection . I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to create solutions that can improve the lives of people and communities.
