Evan Estes

Evan Estes is a freshman in the Texas Tech Honors college who is pursuing his degree in Energy Commerce. He plans to graduate in spring of 2017. Evan is a goal oriented individual and this can be seen through his involvement in the National Society of College Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Societies, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, as well as his making of the President's List in his first semester at Texas Tech.

Achieving these goals has not come without hard work. Evan has been a determined and hard working individual throughout his years of academics and athletics. He arrives early and stays late and is not afraid to outwork the competition in order to obtain the high standard of excellence he places on himself. Evan was born a leader and in path to graduating from Pine Tree High School served as varsity football captain, treasurer for his school's DECA program, and participated on the Texas Bank and Trust Student Board while leading his group to successfully raising the most money for a local charity. Evan has a diverse background and has traveled to several different countries. These travels enhanced his communication skills which can be seen in his volunteer work with a wide range of children from different backgrounds at the Lubbock Boys and Girls Club.

As hard working and well-rounded as Evan is he would undeniably be an asset to any company.
