If there’s one thing that I will enjoy & always get in trouble for, it’s singing. Whether it’s noon, midnight, or in the shower, you can always catch me singing. In fact, music is something that runs through my veins. I’ve grown up in a very musical house, being taught how to play piano, bass, guitar & singing since the age of five. I’ve always thrived on music & performing. One of the highlights of my life is singing in front of a combined live audience of 10,000 people over two days at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in the Creative Generation State Schools Onstage Spectacular in high school. It’s a passion I know I’ll always have & something I’d love to invest my time in. Aside from the musical me, I enjoy community engagement. For the past two years I've been involved in the Queensland Youth Parliament. Not only do we practice the legislative side of politics and government, but we also strive to engage more in the community & encourage others to do so. I’ve been able to do the St Vincent de Paul Society’s community sleep out, the Queensland Plan, raise money for orphanages and medical centres in countries like the Solomon Islands, raise awareness for people suffering with mental health & many more. I enjoy giving back to the community because I've been given so much. I'm also the music director & youth leader at my church. Being able to sing & lead and inspire young people to make better decisions for their life & to make a change is something that I find extremely rewarding. I’ve lived in Australia my whole life & have seen so many different parts of this country! I enjoy going outdoors, whether it be exploring the bush and rocky terrains, or simply going to the beach for a swim, I love being adventurous & appreciating what nature has to offer. Finally my degree: I'm in my final year of Architecture at Bond University and I honestly cannot wait to join the workforce. I’ll graduate when I’m nineteen which is something not many people get to say and I’ll be on my way to the career I want to have. My ultimate goal for Architecture would be to design a stadium. I’ve always marvelled at major events such as the Olympic Games, concerts and festivals and more recently, the Commonwealth games but it’s the Stadium and the activity that it holds that I always look at.
