My education started off at Clayton High School where I earned valedictorian and was presented with an academic excellence scholarship to the school of my choice. The focus and determination that helped me in high school lead me to graduate from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls in three and a half years. When I wasn't studying I was volunteering with the Big Brother Big Sister Organization or working part-time at Menards, inc. After graduation I bought my first investment property. My very own duplex. I remodeled both units from ceiling to floor. All new flooring, tile, hardwood, and carpet to new windows and trim. It was quite a project and I couldn't have done it alone. My friends and family really came together to make sure I wasn't in over my head. When I was finished remodeling I was offered a job working as a Mortgage Quality Control Auditor for Tena Companies, Inc. I have enjoyed the everyday challenges the quality control side of the finance industry has to offer. New policies and requirements issued by government agencies require me to be alert and focused throughout the day. More recently I have decided to start on a new career path with a new college education from Saint Paul College. I was inspired by my mother's knowledge of information technology to enroll in a Computer Network Engineering AAS degree program.
