I am an Accounting student at UMass Amhert who grew up in Hudson, Massachusetts spending as much of my summers as possible in Southern Maine. I have loved the State of Maine since I was very little, however I know that realistically I will get better experience for a career in accounting in a major city, which Maine does not really have. I plan on living my life in Massachusetts and one day having a vacation home of my own on the water in Maine. I hope some day to be able to share my love for summers in Maine with my future wife and children.

Over the past two summers I interned with KPMG as a Corporate Management Intern. I interned in the Providence, Rhode Island office and received a thorough introduction to the world of Big Four Public Accounting. I learned more in two summers with KPMG that I believe I learend in all of High School. You do not realize how much information you can really retain until it is in a subject you truly love. I worked with a group of great proffesionals who wanted nothing more than for me to grow and develop great habits and skills.

For the future I hope to work at KPMG for a signifcant period of the beginning of my career and eventually start my own business. Both my brothers received college degrees in very different disciplines than me, however we have been recently discussing possibly starting are own company in the future. I love the idea of combining three very different perspectives and collaborating to find an innovative and profitable business idea.
