PhD candidate studying abandonment and ruination, spatial justice, and adaptive reuse. Currently writing about the un-abandonment of shipping containers and their use in different contexts. I have about eight academic publications out there and I've done presentations at about 9,000,000 conferences and conventions. I promise I'll add all that to academia.edu at some point.

In my previous life I did communications, media production, and PR for various non-profits and media companies. I also helped run a Japanese animation pop culture site for several years, which involved coordinating and runninglarge events… okay, yeah, I made a video game about going to E3 and parked a tank in front of the Los Angeles Convention Center.
