Eve Lopez presently serves as a Los Angeles County family law attorney, serving the metropolitan area, including Glendale, Beverly Hills, Burbank, Culver City, Lancaster, Pomona, Norwalk, and Santa Clarita. With more than 20 years of hands-on experience, Eve Lopez assists clients with family-law issues, such as divorce. She handles high-asset divorces as well as those that require modifications of custody and spousal support, and her professional knowledge includes legal separation situations involving immigration.

As the parent of a child with special needs, Eve Lopez understands the issues that special-needs children and their families face. She can provide assistance with regional center cases and with cases involving educational rights within school districts. The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) ensures that children with special needs are entitled to receive special educational services at no cost to the family. Lopez helps families assess their options and secure the services they are entitled to receive.

Before stepping into her current position, Eve Lopez worked with Legal Aid in a domestic violence clinic and paternity clinic. In these facilities, she acted as a family law paralegal. Prior to receiving her admittance to the bar, she worked as a law clerk and paralegal for three certified family law specialists. Her advocacy work during that time included working on behalf of families that have members with special needs.

Eve Lopez attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned her Bachelor of Arts. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Forensic Psychology at California State University, Los Angeles. Lopez then completed her Juris Doctorate at Southwestern University, which she received in 2005.
