Student in Amherst, Massachusetts
I am a code-wrangler, visionary, and political activist. I am interested in driving change for social good through tech and entrepreneurship.
I enjoy both the problem-solving aspects of coding as well as using code to fuel social initiatives. This past Summer, I coded Spontaneity with two others to address problems of loneliness at American colleges. Event-centered and location-based, this app encourages spontaneous get-togethers. Recently, I was commissioned by Amherst College to code an app that sorts students into Social Clubs, the student-approved initiative to address Amherst College's high statistic of loneliness.
As I work, I love talking and joking with friends. And to relax, I debug code, write poetry, read science fiction, and do Mixed Martial Arts.
