Evelyn Andrews

I am a recent graduate from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. I also completed two minors in Political Science and Communication Studies.

Additionally, I received a certificate in New Media Studies from the New Media Institute which is housed in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. During the certificate program, I learned how to build webpages and iOS apps, including for iPhones and for Apple TV's.

While in college I completed three internships at Flagpole Magazine, a local alternative weekly, CNN, and the Student Press Law Center. I also freelanced for Flagpole and the Associated Press.

I am passionate about journalism and technology and I hope to have a career as a reporter or digital producer, both of which I have experience in from my internships and freelance work.
