I always wanted to become an elementary teacher since the age of 5 years old. Watching my elementary teachers was something that motivated me to become one. Now as I have gotten older and being here at Vanguard I am excited and happy that now I can become one. I am currently working with Kindergarteners as a teachers aid and I am getting my one-on-one experience. I also teach at my church as a worship dancer, from the ages 6-20 years old. We do special worship dance songs for our church when we have special events as well as dance during service on Fridays and Sunday Mornings. After I graduate I plan not only to travel, but also come back and get my Masters and Teaching Credential. So that by the time I have everything finished I can go on and start applying to various districts. I am up to work with 1st through 6th graders but if they offer me Kindergarten I would be glad to work with them to.
