Evelyn Neill
I am an ad writer, a creative director, an executive creative director, a non-profit founder. I used to place a piece of myself into everything I wrote - a sensibility, a rhythm, a sequence, a thought. Now I write where writing is missing. I string ropes of words between ideas or people. The words are rarely a piece of me - but are needed. When nothing is needed, I try to stem the flow of useless language. It's hard.
