Have you ever wondered why no one brings you a tuna casserole after you get divorced? You need to move, find a job, take care of your children . . . The separation is painful and frightening, but everyone looks at you as if you're just participating in the latest trend to wear bellbottom jeans. Worse yet, you keep running into people who seem to think your divorce is contagious, and old friends don't want to hang out because the balance is off. Who will talk to their husband/wife?
I'm writing a blog about divorce, not the Eat, Pray, Love type of divorce that happens in books to women with good jobs, connections, and no children. This blog is about what happens to some of the rest of us. It is about how we do our best to move forward, care for our children, and make a new start.
