Procesmanager in Diemen, Nederland
At LENS energie I work as a senior process manager. I make sure our customers get the support they want. I support my colleagues by improving the process they use to do their work. All this with more then 25 years of experience in previous paid and unpaid work.
Before LENS energie I worked at grid operator Alliander as ECM/WCM consultant, new world of work supporter, grid designer, grid protection engineer and grid management system engineer.
I do voluntary work for Duurzaam Dorp Diemen: a network of inhabitants striving to make our home town Diemen more sustainable. I help organize the monthly Repair Café and do repairs there. I help maintain the website, Facebook page, send out tweets, consult with the community council and with network members. I used to write for Windnieuws, the Dutch bi-monhtly paper magazine about wind energy in the Netherlands.
In the remaining spare time I like to drive a motorcycle. Sometimes alone, sometime together with friends from the motorcycle group Kawazuki. After owning three Yamaha's type TR1 (XV1000) I now own a BMW R 1200 RT. It used to be a Police vehicle but with 100 K kilometers was converted to a civil type by me in 2014. During summer holidays we like to drive our camper (previously a Frankia RM 570) mainly through Italy.
And during all this I try to listen to music as much as possible. Mainly rock, but all sorts of music can inspire me. Read more about me and my wife and two children on my personal website.
