Every Family Matters

We are an accredited, human service nonprofit organization operating from our own six sites and hundreds of community locations throughout the metro, such as schools, churches, neighborhood centers, prisons, and food shelves.

Counseling
Because we all need help sometimes, our counseling is available to anyone who is struggling with mental health concerns. Our culturally diverse therapists provide counseling for families, couples, children, teens and individuals. We accept insurance for those with coverage and offer our services on a sliding-fee scale based on your family’s income and ability to pay. If you or someone you know has mental health concerns, we can help. Our counseling also includes in-home and group parenting education for families with young children that need a little extra support.

Education
Our diverse and multi-lingual nationally accredited early childhood programs prepare children for Kindergarten success and beyond. We offer developmental screening on-site and provide speech, occupational, physical, music and play therapy to enhance learning potential. Our staff also provides coaching and tutoring for older children and teens. We help kids reach their goals, and provide home visits to help parents resolve issues and support their children’s success in school. In our after-school and summer programs, students expand their learning through music, arts, recreation, and volunteer activities.

Advocacy
Our advocacy work supports people to address issues that affect their families and communities. We offer direct services and advocacy for victims of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abuse; prevention organizing to combat domestic violence; and community organizing that connects families with their neighbors to improve neighborhoods and reform public policy.
