Evangeline Vargas

Hello, my name is Evie! I am multicultural and can speak/understand Tagalog fluently. I currently attend San Jose State University majoring in Health Science with a minor in Child and Adolescent Development.

I am an active member of the Global Medical Brigades (GMB) where I will be working closely together with doctors and dentists to provide quality health initiatives to a community that otherwise has limited access to health care.

I have also volunteered and worked with children at the Associated Students Child Development Center in San Jose where have acquired knowledge about the physical and cognitive development of children.

Being involved in GMB and the Child Development Center together with the knowledge I have gained from San Jose State, enables me to be a great potential contributor to any future careers within the health education or administration field.
