at Karolinska Institutet which consists of 3 full-time GMP certified biomedical scientists, 1 biomedical engineer specialized in flow cytometry, 3 Ph.D students and 1 postdoctoral researcher. Cell and gene therapy center has full access to a GMP facility capable of generating clinical grade cell and gene therapy products. Furthermore, CGTC is involved in various clinical trials, including the first gene therapy clinical trial in Sweden and the first Swedish clinical trial assesing the safety of donor derived ex vivo expanded NK cells in end-stage cancer patients. The cytogenetics unit with hematology center at Karolinska Institutet was established threee decades ago and has longwithstanding experience in chromosomal analysis with relation to disease progression and survival. The unit consists of 2 senior researchers, 5 specialist biomedical scientists and 2 PhD students.
