Erik Vyhmeister
Student in Michigan
I am a senior undergraduate student in mathematics and physics, studying at Andrews University in Michigan.
My research experience includes computational modeling of nanowires at the University of Florida, and cleanroom photolithography for applications with graphene at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
My research and work interests are in the applications of nanotechnology to portable or easy-maintenance energy storage systems for use in remote regions. This interest is motivated by my experience as a third culture kid, having grown up across four continents.
I am set to graduate with my B.S. Mathematics and B.S. Physics in December 2016, and plan to pursue a PhD in a nanotechnology-related field beginning Fall 2017.
