Hi all, I'm Emily! I am currently working at Fairfield Lane Public Library in Fairfield, Ohio (outside of Cincinnati), going to grad school at Kent, and planning a wedding!

I got into library science because I worked at King Library at Miami University while I was there as an undergrad studying English Education. After graduating from Miami, I worked full time for two years at a TPA called Chard Snyder before I started at Kent and the public library.

My fiance' Quinn and I will be getting married on May 2, 2015 (after we are both done with graduate school - yay!). We are planning a trip to Colorado for our honeymoon. Together we have a big tabby cat named Chili and a dog (boxer/lab mix) named Shay. Quinn will have his master's of Education this May and plans to teach art. When I graduate from Kent in December I hope to continue my career in academic or public libraries. We love camping, cooking (vegan food), reading, music, travel, and hanging with our pets most of all.
