Keye Ewebiyi

Ewebiyi Keye James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Lagos State University, LASU and an Advance Diploma in Desktop Publishing.

He is a three-time winner of LASU Scholarship and a two-time winner of Chief Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship. He served as the General Secretary of LASU Students' Union for 2010/2011 academic session. He is a member of the Nigerian Red Cross Society where he has held several leadership positions including the Commandant, Agege Open Detachment and he holds the Red Cross Leadership and Advance First Aid Certificate. He is a leading member of the Education Rights Campaign, a group renowned for campaigning for free and quality education for all. He was part of the leadership of the #SaveLASU team that spearheaded the campaign for the reversal of the outrageous fee hike in Lagos State University.

He started his working career at Flexyklin Nigeria Limited as Business Development Manager, afterwards he worked at Glitteringgold Global Services and Newsscreen Nigeria as Business Development Manager and Online Correspondent respectively. He currently works as Social Media Officer at the International Press Centre (IPC), Lagos. He has trained over 200 journalists from the six geopolitical zones across the country on social media usage and election reporting.

He is also the Lead Consultant for Kekstar Konsult, a business consultancy firm he founded in 2014 to provide support services to young businesses and non governmental organizations. The firm also hosts a weekly tweet conference #ideas2cash - a platform for young entrepreneurs and achievers to share their success stories. Keye consults for small and medium scale entreprises (SMEs) in the areas of online marketing, corporate branding, business development and public relations.

He is currently the General Secretary of World Changers International (WCI) and the National Coordinator of Activista Nigeria, ActionAid's global youth network campaigning for an end to injustice and poverty.

Keye has attended several workshops and trainings, among which are: UNDP/ICPC Anglophone West Africa Youth Integrity Camp; ActionAid International Youth Working Group meeting, Jordan 2015; Activista Organizing for Change Training Camp. He was the sole Nigerian delegate to the ACP Press Clubs Federation Regional Congress - Cotonou 2014. He is one of TIE Nigeria's Governance Ambassador.
