I feel like I am constantly fixing unloved and broken houses...in a way picking up the pieces and finally doing what somebody else was unwilling or unable to do; doing it right like Mike Holmes likes to say..but with a bit more originallity..often integrating old stuff like stained glass, old brick, old lumber.I don't want it to look completely like a HD display room. I am a sucker for nice tiles, hardwood floors and nice crisp trim and plaster finishes. Having fun is important for me while I plead, hammer or teach. I like to call it hippy chic...Montreal edition.
