Attorney in Washington, DC

Read my articles

I am an attorney for the US Environmental Protection Agency's Office of General Counsel in Washington, DC, and am interested in environmental, energy, and administrative law. My work background thus far is mostly in environmental law, having previously worked as a staff attorney for EPA's Environmental Appeals Board and clerked for both the Air Force General Counsel's Office and the White House Council on Environmental Quality. I am also interested in politics, as I was also the Student Trustee and head of student lobbying at Eastern Illinois University and working in the Governor's Office of Legislative Affairs for a year prior to going to law school.

In the medium term, I would like to combine my interests and do military environment/energy law. Ultimately, my goal is to run for elected office and settle into a career in politics, first in Illinois and then move into the Federal arena.
