MARK BRYANT EXERCISE SPECIALIST / HEALTH EDUCATOR Mark has over thirty years of experience in the fitness industry. He is certified by the International Fitness Association. (IFA), American Sports and Fitness Association. (ASFA), American Heart Association. (AHA), Enhance Fitness Program. (EFP). In March of 2007 he was named National Enhance Fitness Instructor of the Year. He is also a Physical Therapist Aide. Mark is on the board of directors at the Southeast Seattle Senior Center. He has done public speaking about fitness and nutrition at Virginia Mason Hospital, OTC, School of the Blind, Jefferson Community Center, Southeast Seattle Senior Center and local gyms in the Seattle area. He has competed in martial art, bodybuilding, and powerlifting competitions. He teaches group exercise classes, personal training one on one, and group personal training sessions. Over the years, he has worked with dozens of men and women of all ages and skill levels, including those with physical limitations. He has done rehabilitative work with clients, using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. He also designs fitness programs to meet clients' needs. Mark was featured on Seattle’s KCTS Channel 9 as part of a documentary on seniors and aging. He also appeared on Northwest Cable News, King 5 News, and the Seattle Channel, Cable 21. He has been in newspapers throughout Washington State. He has participated in the making of the (PALS), Physical Activity for a Lifetime of Success, DVD. Mark is the executive producer of three exercise DVDs. Because of his commitment to helping his clients reach their fitness goals, he created the ExFlexFitness Plan. This program teaches both advanced lifters and beginners to use proper form and technique while flexing specific muscle groups to achieve better results.
