The artists of In the Expanded Field would like to thatnk everyone who helped make this exhibition possible including, but not limited to, CB1 Café, Ark Norfolk Street, Cambridge Revisited, Jacks on Trinity, Parade, Cambridge School of Art and everyone who aided research and development.

By placing themselves outside of the white cube, and into the expanded field, the artists encourage a direct engagement with the everyday world. All of the works deny the visitor the same viewing experience once so determined by the modernist ideal. This engagement not only informs the artists’ work but also in turn shapes the environment in which it resides, thereby raising questions around how we may experience art.
