Exquisite KTC

I will never know the exact reason why my family doesn't have a single professionally captured family photo, but knowing my father, I'm going to branch off on a whim and guess that it's mainly due to cost--family photos would need to be financed and budgeted in, on top of paying for private school tuition and the expenses that three daughters could rack up. Needless to say, a timeless photo appeared to be more of a luxurious want than a desirable need.

Every now and then I find myself glancing at a photo of my family at the airport. My mom's on the left, my daddy's in the middle, my older sister's on the right, my younger sister is sitting on my mom's lap sandwiched between my mom and daddy, and I'm sitting on my older sister's lap sandwiched between my older sister and my daddy. We're at the airport waiting for my sister to board her flight. Scattered in the background are friends, family members, and other people all spending precious moments with their families before a scheduled departure. I was 15 years old. I glance at this photo accidentally, never intentionally, every once in a while because it finds it's way to my eyes. Every single time that I lay my eyes on it I'm wishing that I had a family photo with my father, something that I could use as a bookmark in a current read, place at the dash of my car, blow up and frame on my wall, or showcase for all my friends and family to see so that I can proudly say, "this is my father, the best man I've ever known...and he passed when I was 18."

I believe that everyone is entitled to a photo you'll love and cherish, and I make it possible for everyone to afford it. In a way, I'm just like you. My struggles are of the same degree, perhaps varying calibers, and nonetheless my desires are just like yours. I want someone who cares about me enough to memorialize my life, my engagement, my wedding, my child's first step, my family, the things that mean the most to me, the people who are held in my heart in such high regard. I know what it feels like to want these things.

My passion for photography is about your perfect moments…a little candid smile, the playful smirk a husband slips his wife, a child laughing from a mother's tickling touch, slipping on a ring to signify eternity, and all the other important moments-in-between. Don't let these moments pass you by, make them exquisite.

I am KTC, thanks for stopping in.
