Hello, I’m Exsyel Hendy, a Law student at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) Campus 5 with a strong academic and professional interest in law, politics, and public policy activism. I view law not merely as a collection of written norms, but as a strategic instrument for social transformation one that must uphold justice, legal certainty, and public welfare in an ever-evolving society.

In 2025, I had the privilege of serving as President of the Law Student Association (HIMA Ilmu Hukum) at UNESA Campus 5. During my tenure, I was committed to strengthening an intellectual and critical academic culture, fostering strategic organizational governance, and encouraging students to engage in substantive legal discourse. I believe that student leadership is not simply about holding office, but about shaping ideas, influencing direction, and building institutional credibility.

I also served as Coordinator of the Disciplinary Commission of Garda Meljit at UNESA Campus 5, where I promoted a principled yet educational approach to discipline. I strongly believe that discipline should be rooted in integrity and guidance educating does not require intimidation, but clarity, consistency, and exemplary conduct.

Currently, I serve as Vice President of the Student Executive Board (BEM) at UNESA Campus 5, where I actively contribute to policy formulation, student advocacy, and strategic institutional engagement. My leadership approach centers on analytical thinking, structured decision-making, and solution-oriented governance.

My passion lies at the intersection of law and politics, particularly in policy analysis, governance reform, and constructive public advocacy. Writing is one of my core interests, especially in developing well-founded government policy recommendations grounded in legal reasoning and constitutional values. I firmly believe that knowledge must be shared, because meaningful knowledge is knowledge that creates impact, shapes character, and advances society.

For me, leadership is defined not by title, but by integrity, intellectual contribution, and the lasting impact one creates.
