My name is Mike Avery, I am a full time professional photographer, born & living with my family in Ramsgate, Kent. I left school in 1982 and served an apprenticeship as a carpenter/joiner gaining distinctions across the board. I worked for a reputed shop fitting company for a number of years working my way up to works manager. I was then given the opportunity to become a director, but instead chose to follow a career change; hence eye4image was 'born'. Having always had a keen interest in photography from an early age I progressed through film & the magic of the traditional darkroom. Today I use high end digital equipment, teamed with a shop/studio in 2007. We have quickly grown a reputation for quality work which has gained us work from large department stores and commercial clients as well as our regular private customers where we specialise in family portraits, pet portraits and wedding photography . My wife also works in the business full time, working in digital darkroom and day to day running of the business.
