Dr. Shashank Rathod

Dr. Shashank Rathod is one of the earliest pioneers in the Phaco-Emulsification Cataract Removal technique in India. Trained in Australia, Israel, Japan and USA in the field of Cataract Micro Surgery, he has presented many academic papers in his field of specialization at various national and international conferences and is a life-time member of Ophthalmologic Associations such as the Surgical Eye Expedition (SEE) , USA and the Indo Japanese Ophthalmologic Foundation.

He is often invited as a guest speaker at various seminars held all over the country and also to demonstrate live surgeries at various national and international conferences. He has by now the credit of performing more than 20,000 phaco-emulsification cataract surgeries.
