EZEIFEDI UMEUKEJE

Prince Engr. (Ambassador) Ezeifedi Uchenna Gab Umeukeje was born on Oct. 21, 1961 to the family of Nze Umeuwaekwe of Umuokwaraehihe Royal Kindred, Okwu Village, Akpulu in Ideato North LGA of Imo State Nigeria. The young Ezeifedi had his primary school Education at Central School Akpulu. He began his Secondary Education at Iheme Memorial Grammar School, Arondizuogu and completed at Bishop Shanahan College, Orlu. Ezeifedi proceeded to the Institute of Management and Technology, IMT Enugu where he obtained an Ordinary National Diploma, OND, in Mechanical Engineering. In 1990, Engr. Umeukeje bagged a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the then Anambra State University of Technology Now Enugu State University of Technology ESUT.

On completion of his University Education, Engr. was posted to Rivers State for his National Youth Service with primary assignment at Cameron Iron Works (now Cooper Cameron Corperation) in Port Harcourt. At the end of his one year NYSC programme, Cooper Cameron Corperation retained Engr. Ezeifedi in its staff list due to the young Engineer's outstanding qualities especially for his ingenuity and honesty. Due to his consistent outstanding record, Cooper Cameron Corperation sent him on a specialist training on Wellhead System and Valves at Wellhead System Manufacturing plant Celle, Germany.

After years of meritorious service at Cooper Cameron Corperation, Port Harcourt, Engr. Umeukeje left the company and in 1995 established KORENT SERVICES NIGERIA LIMITED, a service provider in the Oil & Gas Sector of Nigeria Economy. KORENT SERVICES NIG. LTD, a proudly Nigerian viable company has offices in the Niger Delta Area of Nigeria and in New Jersey USA.

Engr. Ezeifedi, a lover of his people has employed many indigenes of Ideato in his Company.

He is married to Dr (MRS) Odinma Ifedi and the marriage is blessed with Children.
