Frank Shay
For almost 30 years Frank Shay has worked in the health care industry in several different capacities. He started his passion for helping people in 1984 when he volunteered as an EMT for his local ambulance squad. This experience led him into a career as a paramedic. One of his favorite jobs was working as a flight medic. As a paramedic, not only has he helped countless people in need but he was also instrumental in the development of several groundbreaking programs. These programs include, starting the first Tactical Medic program in New Jersey, designing a paramedic assistant program and running multiple hospital decontamination teams. In addition, he contributed his skills to help the victims of 911. Over time his ambitious career led him into teaching. He is certified to teach ACLS, PALS, CPR. PHTLS and Advanced Hazmat Support. The experience of 911 deeply affected Frank, which guided his career in a new direction. He has worked very hard to achieve the status of Subject Matter Expert in weapons of mass destruction response. As such he is a contracted instructor for the Center for domestic Preparedness, and a Certified United States Air Force Instructor. He has recently gained the status of adjunct professor for The County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. Mr. Shay has an Associates degree from Thomas Edison State College and is currently obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Homeland Security from American Military University.
