What I believe.

I believe technology is a tool to improve people's life not as a goal by itself. Humanity did not want to make a rocket just to have fun, we made a rocket because we wanted to go to the Moon!. I enjoy making software that reflects this beliefs and improves people's lives either is a BI tool to analyse data and prevent weather disasters or an app that let music lovers learn how to play a new instrument.

My Passion.

Learning new things is one of my passions; currently I am making research with iBeacons and bluetooth sensors to understand how can I implemented to improve indoor mapping solutions. Also I am working with Oculus VR and Leapmotion controller to make my own version of Minority Report data analysis interface.

What I have accomplished.

My team and I won a Synergy award from our employer Softtek Information Services for turning the worst project in the company into the most successful.
I had implemented one of the first successful enterprise deployment of AJAX technology in Mexico (even before it was called AJAX).
I had implemented the first successful enterprise deployment of JOpenDocument to automate the creation of legal documents for Mexican Government.
I led a team (most of them junior level) to make the first web application that connected legacy systems from four government agencies to simplify paperwork to create new business in Mexico (the solely release of this portal allowed Mexico to go up 2 positions in the doing business ranking), to give you an idea, before this, a person must spend 28 days from one government agency to another to get the permissions to open a business or create a company, after the release of the portal it takes 4hrs to accomplish such task.
My team and I won the first mobile Hackathon organised by Mexican National Polytechnics Institute.

My life's purpose.

I want to succeed creating new ways technology improve peoples lives.
